  • This project is being run by an independent committee, with first nations representation and consultation.

    Retail Apparel Group Pty Ltd, a local Australian business have provided financial support to this project. If you are interested in contributing to this project please get in touch.

  • We have engaged with First Nations people throughout this project within in our committee, for consultation and throughout various processes - you can read more about this on here.

  • In 2026, we will be giving out $30,000 total in grants to First Nations Projects. Each applicant can apply for up to $15,000.

    The grant is paid as a one-off amount to successful applicants.

    The grant can be used for costs directly related to your approved project/business such as materials, equipment or project delivery.

    The grant can't be used for personal expenses, unrelated activities or costs incurred before grant approval.

  • All application forms must be completed by 30 April 2026. Late applications cannot be accepted. Winners will be announced in July 2026.

  • You'll need to outline who you are, your project, how it benefits first nations people/community or country.

  • Applicants can be individuals, community initiatives, a local organisation or small companies.

  • Applicants will be notified if they are successful by June 2026 by email. Grant recipients will be announced in July 2026.

  • We encourage video applications to be uploaded as part of the application form where applicable.
